小第剛買了這部機, 試用了幾日, 感覺非常好, 雖然估計這部機未必有很多人會喜歡, 因為可能400萬就已經是一個死結, 但自己都做了很多功課, 比較過各部同級機(如 FX7, Z55, S5i 及 T3), 最後都選擇了這部, 也看見很多人都有興趣看sample相, 所以現將幾張相post出來, 供大家參考, 如其他IXUS40機主有興趣的話, 請一同分享, 公諸同好.

想知道在貴相簿中的img.0045及img.0128的夜景sample相片是用什麼setting來拍的，如iso、快門等。
因從samples中看到好像有很多雜訊。

因我也在做資料搜集買DC。

Sorry, 這兩天比較忙, 資料如下:
img.0045: 快門 1/8, 光圈 3.2, ISO auto (用夜景mode)
img.0128: 快門 1, 光圈 3.2, ISO auto (用手動mode, 開了慢快門)

事實上我也有同感, noise 是比較多, 但我又覺得細機來說都差不多啦, 就算 FX7 都唔會好得去邊, 況且我們應該清楚咭片機的任務是 snapshot, 所以不能要求佢瓣瓣都 perfect

我也是用來做snapshot及生活旅行拍攝用的。
除了相片質數外，主要就是起動是否夠快。
因好多時就是要拍下剎那的一刻，我想你也有同感。

最後再多請教你多一個問題，IXUS40同RICOH R1比較，
那一個起動較快？

我都買佐呢部機﹗

但我點解找唔到邊度有得Set個快門速度呢﹗

慢快門我就見到，但係點Set 1/8快門或者點先顯示到出黎

這部機是不能顯示的, 快門及光圈的資料是要將相 download 到電腦後再看相的內容才找到,
而又因為沒有快門先決或光圈先決, 所以也不能隨意選擇用幾多的光圈或快門去影, 一切也是相機"自己"決定的, 最多只能選擇慢快門(開/關)

我因為RICOH R1的樣問題, 個人實在不大喜歡, 所以沒有怎樣研究, 但據一些報導說, 此機在某些情況下, 反應會比較慢, 至於是什麼情況, 我己不記得了, 因為已經沒有再考慮

一般跟機的軟件開相片內容就睇到呢啲資料。

guys, the pics on webshots aren't really intended for quality evaluation...
check the file size you downloaded there...
(I got an abt 450k for the IMG_0045 @ its 4MPixel, Canon's "superfine" compression for a 4MP photo should about about 2MB, compared with the original photo such a 450k is just for "fun sharing", not competent for evualation like noise =p)

Still I downloaded it and view it on my 1024 x 768 LCD screen, not bad @ all... I think it's great enough for daily shooting and snap-shoting...

hey fellow, i wonder that you posted this article for what intention ?!
as the forum topic is clearly stated "CANON IXUS40 分享及試相區", that
mean there's including for "evaluation". and did you read this
three chinese "試相區"at the topic.

i guess that most of the members of DCfever are understand the file volum size of these photos are after compression. although these low profile sample pics, and there are with markedly noise marks on them.
i don't see there are any ignorant of, and just want to get further
information and quality of CANON IXUS40.

on the other hand, the snapshot photos are not equal to no quality, no
skill and no request. for you, maybe just a webcam DC will be satisfied?
