Pls advice if it's acceptable for a new zoom lens to have dust inside? i went a respectable shop in Mongkok to try d70 kit. i have checked 3 of them but all of the kit lens got dust inside. is it normal for d70 kit lens? is it acceptable? the sales staff said it's hard to find one which is free of dust. is it true?

Yes, it is true that it's hard to be free of dust. But lens built under strict quality control should not have too much dust inside.
