仲有, 唔知買sigma 12-24 好定 EF 17-40 好, 如果兩支都買唔會有點浪費?
我用300d 的.

The wide angle lenses are probably most commonly used lenses. You have a wide angle of view. You can take pics with groups of people easily. You can take very broad scenes easily. So it's worthy for an investment on wide angle lenses.

I have the 17-40mm f4 L and am very happy with it. Sharp images and very good colour rendition. It even beats the 16-35mm f2.8 L in the quality of images. It's a bit waste of the lens because I'm also using 300D, which uses only the central portion of the lens.

Sigma 12-24mm gives a wonderful broad view, but you may get into problem to take pics for people. This is also a very good lens, and it's the only choice for Canon users so far at this focal length. I did consider this lens when I was thinking about a wide angle lens. At this extremely wide angle of view, distortion also worsens, and it cannot be avoided in all wide angle lenses. So which lens you choose strongly depends on your needs.
