本人覺得,因為w1己經在早前有一大批人買了下來,質素亦相當好,當然手動功能較弱,但可以遷就.如今的V3最好的可以說是多了hotshoe,相片質素相約,但價餞上相差很多,所以買的人士相信會少些.

當中很有些意見我是非常認同的：

(1) Canon G-6及Sony V-3的影像是眾多700萬像相機較為優異的；
(2) Sony V-3的對焦速度可以說是Prosumer DC有史以來最快 (很明顯比Sony W-1還要快)；

大家可以看見Sony V-3的效能是眾多用作比較相機最好的：

Once more a Sony shows the way to at least three 'camera manufacturers' who should really be able to do better. In almost every respect (apart from startup time) the DSC-V3 felt faster than the rest, most noticeable was its ultra-fast auto focus, shot to shot times and 4 MB/sec write speeds. Joint second best were the Casio EXILIM EX-P700 and Olympus C-7000 Z (which almost inexplicably throws away its 1.9 startup time with a poor off to shot taken time).

其實在這一點上，我很想提醒很多「反Sony派」或者認為Sony DC不成的朋友，你們要清楚Sony 並不是一間專做相機業務的生產商，但它的高階Prosumer DC很多方面的優點已經比一些「專做相機業務的生產商」優秀很多，這是事實，不容否定。所以一直以來，本人都是以相機論相機，不明所以很有些朋友專門以牌子論相機，大家確實需要深思當中的理念。

I have read dcresource and note that you would take sharper picture with large aperture, i.e. F4.0 rather than 8.0 due to somewhat diffraction. Is it true?

你一定不大清楚Sony V-3跟Sony W-1的分別了：

(1) Sony V-3是有鐳射對焦的；而Sony V-3是沒有，在夜間人像對焦有著絕對的優勢；
(2) Sony V-3是有紅外線夜間拍攝功能的；而Sony W-1是沒有；
(2) Sony V-3是可以用CF及MS/MS Pro卡作儲存媒體，Sony W-1則是只能以MS/MS Pro作儲存媒體；
(3) Sony V-3有快門先決、光圈先決及全手動功能，並不是Sony W-1的有限的手動功能能夠相比；
(4) Sony V-3的對焦速度、快間反應、shot to shot速度等也是Sony W-1不能相比；
(5) Sony V-3為700萬像相機 (iso為100, 200、400及800)，Sony W-1為500萬像相機(iso為100, 200及400)

i have read 'dcresource' and note that the picture will be shaper if use larger aperture, i.e. F4.0 than F.8. Is it true?

I think it is true, as you can see the comments at dpreview：

"And now the pinch, well the DSC-V3 does appear to have two issues which lead to the same outcome, small apertures. The first is that the jog dial's default action is program shift and it's all too easy to roll the dial without realizing and leaving it with a small aperture. The second is that the metering system's program line appears to begin shifting to smaller apertures once shutter speed reaches 1/250 sec. This kind of program line would be fine on an SLR but on a compact camera with such a small lens shooting at F8 can only mean one thing; softer images and a loss of resolution."

I think Sony may update the firmware to correct this problem next time, for me, not a big issue.
