我同意你講,兩個人一齊出去影,一個有機,一個冇機,冇機嗰個會好冇癮,所以我未買機前,我用300D 都帶埋部廢柴casio比我老婆用,直到佢見到好多蝶又影到一pat野我先遊說佢不如用部好d機,否則捉到鹿都脫唔到角,於是佢好想有部機,一切都係順住黎,你太急了,沒有先精密安排,最緊要要比番小小面比男人,淨係你識影,你個fd己經變成外行人了,建議先令佢鐘意左影相先,一切易辦

Honest speaking, I've little idea about whether the coating for Sigma lens is good or not. In fact, I don't care too much the technical design of a lens, but more on the end result, i.e. the picture quality. I still remember that when I bought my 35L in Wing Sing, there is another guy asked me why didn't buy the 24L, he said 24L has more aspherical lens so it is more worth .... Well, I just kept smiling to him.

For Sigma 12-24, I didn't use it myself, but I did see a lot of samples and discussion about this lens before in various Web sites and forum. Imo, the pros of this lens is it can be used on full frame camera and has relatively little distortion (even better than Nikon 12-24). However, images are soft and contrast, color are not good enough imo (I would say f8 or below is more usable) and cannot use filter is a big problem as well (the effect of CPL cannot be simulated in PS). It is also bulky.

As I shared in another message thread, I've Nikon 12-24 and found it more suit my taste than the Sigma one. I'm looking for a similar range wide zoom for my 20D (then I'll probably drop Nikon completely). Have seen samples (full size) of Canon 10-22 and I think it is not too much better than Sigma (but more expensive). Will wait until Tokina and Tamron to see how they perform (samples of Tokina taken with D70 is quite good imo). Fyi, the retail price of the upcoming Tokina should be even cheaper than the Sigma, of course it is an APS-C size lens only.

Tokina 80-200/2.8 成像較柔和，要在 f/4 ~ 5.6 至較 sharp。
用在 DSLR，Canon 70-200/4L 較實際同抵用，光圈全開也很 sharp，色調還原準，重量輕適合長時間用。

Leica R21/4 係好 sharp 的鏡頭，但同樣地，一般舊超廣角鏡頭在 DSLR 始終難逃 Sensor 反光的問題，令成像劣化。
而且，幾千元(二手)至過萬元(全新) Leica 鏡頭用在 x1.6 DSLR，只用到中央部份會好浪費支鏡頭。
我自己只會在 300D 接上 R35/2 , R50/2 , R90/2，太 wide 的只會用在 Leica R8。
300D wide angle 我暫時用 Sigma 18-50/2.8 EX DC，我自己比較番我以前用 10D + 17-40L 的舊相，Sigma 的 DC 設計的確較為 sharp 一點。但色調還原、逆光坑耀光、變形控制等都係 17-40L 優秀得多。

17-40L 配 1Dmk2 因 crop x1.3 所以用番普通厚道的 Filter 都無問題。

UV Filter 前係唔應該再加其它 filter，一來會有暗角，二來兩種功能不同的 filter 同時使用有令影像劣化。

Canon Lens 只有 L 鏡才有 Soft / Hard Case & Hood 送，其它一般鏡頭就要自己配 Hood & Case ......
