現已contact兩名EF17-40f4L user,看他們有冇興趣放,

Hi all Cannon brothers, I havce never own a cannon DSLR B4, but I am interested in the 350 as it is small and light what I have been waiting for...I have a question regarding the kit lens, it kind a feel very plasticy, is this a good lens...I am more worried about the focusing speed of the lens as I need to take fish photos very often and I need to have fast auto focus.

for original 350D kit version, it's focus speed is fast enough for regular use, but since you need extreme fast focus, then 2 choices from below
1. Canon EF16-35 f2.8L/f4L USM or
Canon EF20-35 f3.5-4.5 USM
2. Sigma 17-35 f2.8-4 Ex DG HSM
from my 300D, using USM/HSM motor lens is just around 5% faster focus than the regular one.

I have been using 300D kit in office. This afternoon I took the kit set to a shop and used the kit lens to test the 350D. Using the kit lens, 350D focused much faster than 300D in low light setting. I bought the 350 body (hong) for $7200. The price of 17-85 at the shop is $4100; but I bought it for $4250 in another shop a few days ago. Too bad!
