因為我本想好鍾意影運動.

有恆定2.8光圈的FZ-20係唔係好的選擇?
因為佢又有12x,
我係球場都可以影到對面!

Good option for your purpose within the buget.
Otherwise you may need to get a DSLR with large aperture lens and long focal length which is very expensive.

有恆定2.8光圈的FZ-20 is why we choose FZ-20. Lecia lens with this price range is a best buy. I use FZ20 for 2 months, mainly for close-up shooting with my new born babies, I quite satisfied with the print-out results.

It has its disadvantage. Sometimes I find the auto WB cannot perform well in coloring and you have do some trail and error. Also, it has difficulties in AF during low light (although it has a photo assits lamp) and it is quite common in DCs.

Another choice is Cannon S2 IS and there are a lot of discussion and comparison in this forum, try to take a look for your final decision.

You need around $10000 for satisfying sport photography. DSLR with good fast lens is a must. With only $4-5K budget, you could only buy a prosumer super zoom DC. My recommendation is Panasonic FZ20 too, because of the good Leica lens which allows F2.8 at maximum zoom. It shall have no problem in good sunny day or cloudy outdoor field events at ISO200. However, don't expect it to shoot indoor sport events. You will need DSLR for this.
