RAW同BMP係咪一樣?

影RAW/BMP有乜好處?有人話用PS執相時會好D, 究竟?解?但20MB一幅相去邊度晒呀?

RAW同BMP係咪一樣?

No, RAW is a file format that all data are kept as what was captured, you have to process it yourself with a RAW converter and change it to other format in order to be printed.

有乜好處?
When you process an image, like making it brighter or darker, you are removing data from your file, so if you have more data to start with, the final image will be better.

但20MB一幅相去邊度晒呀?
They won't print your RAW file. When you have processed it, you have to save it as other files like PSD, TIFF, JPG. Then the lab can print it for you. For small photos, the lab that I use will only accept JPG, because it is smaller. If you print very very large print, some labs will accept TIFF or PSD, less lost type of file storage.

No.

To the contrary, there are many filters not usable with RAW or RAW converted TIFF/PSD because they are in 16 bit. Some filters only usable for 8 bit images. The new PSCS2 seems support more 16 bit images, but I have not tried it myself.

Jpeg最好唔好大改.同埋最好一次改晒,唔好save完又改. Photoshop好似冇得直接幫Jpeg改色溫,要自己慢慢搞紅,綠,藍.
Jpeg真係要大改的話最好先轉成Tiff,改完先轉翻做Jpeg.

用 P4C 3.0G, 512MB 行PS 執相夠唔夠?

如果檔案己經轉為了Jpeg, 再轉為Tiff已經沒有用, 因為檔案已經被壓縮。同樣,如果Jpeg的質素是定於細, 再轉為高質素也是沒有用。

it is very enought, but remember, coz u only have 512ram, so don't load over 20 photo in to PSCS at a same time

同埋我聽講jpg file每重save一次(就算0壓縮)d相既質素都會差左.

Medium Cake,

If you already have the computer, just use it. If you plan to buy a new computer, I would recommend 1G Ram for PSCS or later version.

I recommend 1G Ram for Mac computer more :)

and to netswap:
if u save as same Level, no different at all

and one more thing:
progressive choose 5 when u save picture
u can get smaller KB picture then choose baseline to save
quality no need to change also can get smaller KB of picture :)

JPEG係 8 bit? 咁同其他coding咪相差好遠? 睇落又唔覺喎?

如果唔需要大量加工, 有冇必要映 RAW 呢? D相真係會靚D嗎?

Raw is for u fix some problem in a computer ma
Raw is not a picture, it is only a data, so u have to plus-in something in PS to make u can read RAW format
RAW is not for you 大量加工，useing RAW is because it can fix something that JPG can 't done so, like 白平衡

JPEG is 8 bit, for internet of coz is ok enought la
16 bit is for business use, for print out

Jpeg是可以執白平衡的,例如Paint shop pro 8便可以.但 raw可以容忍較大程度的改動.如果有信心唔執都掂,影Jpeg都OK.
