Hello Everybody

this is the 1st time i come to this website, i see many of ppl are so friednly here and therefore want to ask a question.

i would like to buy a DSLR instead of my prosumer S7000, however, i am hard to choose from the 3 potential choices:

1. Canon E350D
2. Nikon D50
3. Pentax IST DS

I want to have a DSLR which has very very enough electricities for me to take photos outside. I hope the DSLR will not have a hot body when i use it for a long time.

On the other hand, I want to have a DSLR which has ENOUGH STOCK AND GOOD QUALITY LENS for me to purchase. And if possible, the lens should not be too expensive (Under 4000HKD). It is because I will not buy many many lens, but lens like wide-angle and tele lens should have enough stock for the DSLR to make use of it.

And I also want to have a DSLR with MULTI - EXPOSURE, VERY FAST AF and C - AF.

Finally, if the DSLR can make use of AA batteries, then should be another advantage for me to choose my favorite DSLR.

如果你咁諗.我覺得你買D70s好d cos 18-70 本身係枝靚鏡.再用4000左右買多枝長鏡好過(可以諗下55-200 dx).cos compare番 350d d50 兩枝kit鏡比較上係同18-70差好多.and d70s 正常係跟多粒電(行送的)

要用AA電只有PENTAX IST DS一部
無論邊隻牌子都好,根本唔駛驚冇鏡頭support,你倒不如擔心自己budget唔夠好過啦

我都建議買Dynax 5D

350D 有直倒 都可以用AA電

If choose Nikon, go for D70, never try D70s as you only waste your money with essentially two same things (and the difference is 2 - 3 K dollars)!!

The rationale to pick DSLR is for something different. And in the market, Canon offer two new weapons:- 20D and 350D.

(1) 8 mp resolution
(2) Black / white mode
(3) extremely well performed noise control
(4) white balance adjustment / shift
(5) vertical grip
(6) sharp and fastest focusing speed of the same class
3 fps for continuous 14 frames
(7) small and lightest body
(8) live histogram
(9) 2nd generation of the class of DSLR (previous proven tool in 300D)
(10) good CS world wide support and 2 years full warranty & replacement
(11) durable power consumption with over 600 shots per charge and vertical grip can be installed with AA batteries

disad:
(1) no spot metering
(2) those applied to 20D
(3) too small sized for some people
(4) always out of stock for body only product
(5) too many enquiries in the shop that the sales people may be too busy to answer your call

其實y成成果d個價咁低.因為佢地將d送ge野收起左.好似card袋電咁.佢地諗往等你買埋d料.咁個價未去番正常價law.就萛你唔買.等其他人買番.佢地未冇lose到錢 law.所以.y 間間個價都貴.凸然間有間平d.實有d理由 ge.

Thx all...but i still have some questions about these DSLRs

1. Some ppl say that canon's cheap lens are not good in the quality, only L lens are the best, is it true?

2. I heard from my friend's discussion about pentax's dslr. They said that ist ds is very slow as compared with Nikon and Canon. If this is true, then how slow it is? Is it really very slow?

3. Nikon, Canon and Pentax, 3 brands of the DSLR, which of them can make use of the most types of various non-original company lens like sigma and tamron?

Could any of the fellow members could tell me about more advantages and disadvantages of these dslrs?

既然係dslr 新手, 買km d5d啦.

基本上N記D70s 及C記350d有既功能佢都有(e.g. 點對焦, support wireless flash, hss, mirror lock up, 較大及較光的VF, 合適的手感, 低noise iso, 靚jpg直出), 而N C 記無既功能佢亦有 (e.g. low zone matching (iso80)and high zone matching(iso200), AS防手震, iso100-3600, 2.5" lcd) , 支kit 鏡又ok 價錢同d50差唔多, 仲想點?

我記得係有.cos我個friend係gome買果陣8390 係有電跟.但想問下.你買左幾錢.if小過8390 ge話...冇係正常.....
