Reasons (350D's advantages when compare with 5D):
1) Respone Time Faster

2) More Lens

3) Lighter

4) Good brand name

5) Screen is clearer

6) More friend use 350D

7) With Vertical Grip

8) More accessories can buy

9) More top lens

10) 800 million pixels (I like crop the pictures)

11) All professional website comment are "excellent" and "highly recommended"

12) Lens system is very important (Lens $$$ > body $$$). You wil upgrade the body but old lens can be used in future. I like 5D's AS function. Will Canon add this function in future digital camera body ? No body can answer.

13) Low noise (high ISO (800), low noise and retain good details)

Anyway, I test 5D several time

1) AS really work, I like it very much. It is the main point if you choose 5D

2.5" LCD is super, but resolution is too low.

2) Low noise but lost a lot of details (my main concern - you can read this
in dpreview 7D Vs 20D) As 5D's quality is similar to 7D and 350D's quality is similar to 20D. It is good to compare 7D with 20D as there is no comparison of 5D and 350D until now.

3) only 6 million pixel (crop photo seems difficult)

4) Body is too heavy for travelling

5)Response time is a bit slow

6)Body design is not smart. (finishing is too plastic)

If 2,3,4,5,6 is not your main concern, 5D is a good choice. As Anti-shake is really good and safe a lot of money in future.

可以話比你知dpreview 有時d測試都會同實際有出入, 好似佢話d7d noise iso100 同iso800 差唔多, 但我反覆測試下其實iso100 同iso200 看唔到有分別. 點都好350d係幾好選擇, 有8mp的確方便crop 相, 亦方便未來升級做FF機(Canon 5d!)

邊個同你講 Low noise (high ISO (800), low noise and retain good details , 無咩detail 架... 5d iso 800一樣都係咁low noise
同埋canon無可能會有body IS 囉...
不過你要crop相就 8 mp 會好d ge
你要相靚又唔想ps就一定5d 啦
lens system 都係enough 就得啦
canon咁多鏡你都買唔曬啦

各人睇法唔同好正常, 好似有人話350d似玩具, 好膠, 手感操控好差, 影像唔sharp 等, 但始終我地唔可以代表其它人的感覺.

機主可能太信d報告. 無親身去問下d機主或自己去比較過有幾大分別..

呢張係用7d iso3200 影, 我唔覺會lost "a lot of" details喎, 何況如果用iso800, 就肯定更加唔會lost a lot of details 啦.

Yes, I know both 350D & D5D are made of plastic, so why there is a disadvantage of D5D but not 350D?

It's only because in the mind of the poster, he/she is preferred to buy 350D only.
