Have anyone experience on the above cameras? Any recommendations?

I like DS most because of its larger viewfinder (which is important to me), hand feeling and image quality. However, DL seems to be newer and may have some improvements over DS on image quality. For KM 5D, since I have not touched it yet and there is not much review on it, I am not sure. Also the kit lens seems to be plastic and quality only ordinary from some discussion.

Just my curiosity, why not consider 350D or D50 ??? let me being a human ad ware once, ha ha ^_ ^ .....

350D has 8.M pixel, No. 1 top sales DSLR, extreme white balance and focus speed, winning many camera awards, used by many reporters, highly recommended by Dpreview, Fcfever and Canon fans…..

D50 has durable body, fast flash syn speed, less post-processing for JPG, good noise control, accurate focus, focus auxilary lamp, high value by its price level, highly recommended by Nikon fans…….

Thanks for the reply. For me, the viewfinders of 350D and D50 are too small which I feel quite inconvenient to compose picture. Therefore, not consider them.

KM D5D selling hot like pancakes thses days. Anti-shake is its biggest selling point. Besides, the viewfinder should be the best of all, large and bright, but it's a bit heavy when comparing with others mentioned above. Minolta produces fine quality optics too but some may prefer Canon/Nikon. Anyway, the choice is yours to make.

Although I do not own DS/DL, I like it very much.

- Picture color
- Clear LCD
- Body design
- Relative cheaper lens system (good lens at reasonable price comparing to other brands)

However, AF is a big problem. Although MF is available, most of the time I prefer to use AF and sometimes it is difficult to do AF indoor.

Also, some reviews mentioned that AWB was not good under tungsten light (yellow color).

The viewfinder of DL is not as comfortable as the one from DS but not a big problem to me. No selectable focus point, also not a big problem because I usually focus in te center first and then recompose the picture.

If DL has better AF than DS, then I would choose DL because it's cheaper and it has bigger LCD. If not, then DS would be better.

以我所知, 無邊部機(包括頂級機)的AWB 在黃燈下可以做到"好"的效果.

Just consider size of view finder, DS is the best.

DS viewfinder 0.95x
D5D is 0.9x
DL is 0.82x

i think D5D is 0.8x only... as D7D is 0.9x
but surely DS is 0.95x!! biggest for this price!

Field of view 95%
Magnification 0.83X with 50mm lens

For DS:
Field of view 95%
Magnification 0.95X with 50mm lens

For DL:
Field of view 96%
Magnification 0.85X with 50mm lens
