If it is priced just under $25,000 (inclusive of a kit lense), the product should be very well attractive to potention mid-range dslr buyer - cos't the 20D is already in the range of $12,000 to $13,000.

$25,000 including a kit lens is ok... if the kit lens is 50 f/1.8 or 28-90 f/3.5 - 5.6.... :)

It it is reduced to around $23,000 after the first two months of its initial introduction in the market (just like most canon's dslr did), it should be a hit to the dslr world not to mention is increased speed & ff feature.

I wish it could follow the foot step of all prior dslr offers.

if i were hungry for 5D, i would wait six more months for its detailed report and comments from the users. Six months after its introduction to the market, it would be $22000 :P
