I have one, it is a very good standard zoom lens. At least it is far better than the 'cheap' kit lenses and the 28-105/3.5-4.5. But don't expect that it can act as a portriat lens at its tele end.

For the photo quality, does it better than sigma's standard lens? eg 18-125? 28-70? etc
