N記D200照睇都應塵埃落定, 12M pixels, 簡化/小型版D2X ...

單以 spec. 計, 除非 C記用5D為替換品(但相信99.9%唔會係)
否則就一定要30D先會係新對手.

你地認為30D個 spec. 會係點?(純興趣交流, 唔係要比較邊個好)

我認為都係~12Mpixel, aps size, 其餘都係同20D唔多.

Maybe :
1) APS-H (x1.3) with APS-C mode, so EFS could still be used
2) 9 AF pt. with more than 6 assist AF pt. at centre (like 5D)
3) spot metering
4) Digic III??

why still APS-H?? FF & APS basic cost are similar, APS has high good production rate and FF very low!! but FF good production rate recently has huge break through!

Nikon is very fast and clever this time.

Based on D200 config, Canon will fight back Nikon in HK$10,000-20,000 DSLR category early next year.

Refering to 10D and 20D, 30D will probably have 12MP or 14MP (beating Nikon D200), APS-C, 11 AF points, 7 frames per second.

At the same time, Canon will launch 1D Mark III or 1Ds Mark III for World Cup 2006

12-14MP (for 1D Mark III) or over 20MP (for 1Ds Mark III)
FF
60 AF points
10 frames per second

Because canon CEO revealed recently that canon still have at least 3 grades
Then 10D series could not be the competitor of 1D series & 5D series,
so FF CMOS seen not possible
However, as 老叟 you said that costs of APS-H & -C are similar
larger CMOS (APS-H, crop x1.3) much easlier have less noise, higher ISO & MP
The main problem is using EFS lense. Fortunately Nikon tried before and easy to select the crop mode.
If 30D use 20D mount (EF and EFS dual),
1) APS-H attractive to the middle class user (with L lense), 17-40L, 135L, 24-70L still partly resorted its useful range
2) APS-C crop mode could use EFS

APS-H should be unique for 10D series, not interrupt others
1DsIII -- FF, most MP, >10fps, 1 series body & AF
1DIII -- FF, 1 series body & AF, 5fps
5DII or 3D -- FF, 3fps
30D -- APS-H, 5fps
400D -- APS-C, 3fps
