本人打算在十二月中東北三省自遊行，約15至18天.
The temperature there may drop to -20 degree C.
Could DC like my old canon S45 and DSLR like D17s or 350D can withstand such low temperature?

i live in toronto,Canada and my 20D stay in my car trunk for 9 hours outside winter at -10 to -20C. So i guess for 350D once a while will be fine (just dont use microdrive)

one tips for you, when you bring your camera back into indoor, leave your camera in the bag (zip up) and dont take it out right away, this slows down temperature change to avoid condensation (moist) inside your camera.
