I am a D-Lux 2 users, hardware are the same and software are different that makes photo totally different.

Who will you the original software, however? For jpeg, no need the software provided, for raw, there are thousand of good raw converters in the market.

noise真的比其他相機犀利些，ISO80和100無問題，ISO200時就有些許，ISO400時都幾多，所以非必要時我都不用ISO400。但這機的其他東西都非常好。鏡頭非常好，如果noise控制方面可以做得更好就一流。

The firmware in D-Lux 2 is said to be superior to LX1. And the JPG file produced might be better.

I have an LX1. It's noisy but not a problem to me. I shoot raw and also use Neat Image. There are only a few raw converters that support their raw files, such as RSP and latest Adobe raw converter.

If you want to shoot without post processing, LX1 may not be the camera for you.
