Sony停售有關產品的決定可能係以退為進的反擊，進口內銷的貨品要付稅，而家停售有關產品sony當然會申請退稅，有關單位問及詳情時借勢搞大佢。

To some, it is always the Chinese who is at fault, and Sony can't be touched, and can't be wrong. I wonder what kind of sick logic is this?

Get the following facts straight:

- there have been lots of recalls recently by various camera makers on faulty CCDs made by Sony. So Sony is not God. It can have its share of quality problems as well. So please stop finger pointing the Chinese automatically the very first instance.

- in the past when China just opened up, many Japanese companies had been making tons of money by unloading second-rates/ obsolete production facilities in China. So in all dealings, it is not the Japanese who is always holding the moral high ground.

- decades ago, Hong Kong was the testing ground for many new Japanese electronic products (amplifiers etc.). If there were design faults with these new products, these models just wouldn't appear in the all important US and EU markets. I had been the victimes of a few badly designed and built yet expensive amplifiers/receivers that were sold only in HK and not elsewhere. So there is different markets for different products for many Japanese companies.

- since not all cameras are created equal even under the same model, ask yourself, what happen to the batch that just made (or miss) the quality requirements. Do you really think they will all be junked.

Critical thinking, guys. and don't always defend you favorite brand(s) like your mother, and not all decisions by the Chinese offiicals are always evil minded.

Not everything Chinese is automatically wrong.

Right from the start, he is using the words such as "打壓SONY", " "大陸數碼相機市場可以好黑暗 ...".

And in taht link there is a another gentleman who questioned whether I had dealt with Chiese officials before, and claimed he has SIX (long years) of expereince of dealing with the Chinese officials, and call them hopelss SOB.

All in all, I guess I am right in saying there are more people in Hong Kong who are ingerently bias against the Chinese. I think they are all entitled to their opinions. Who am I to question that. But as far as I go, I am just sick to my stomach to see this.

I travelled to many places, rich and poor, and am always impressed by how these people displayed their loyalty to their coutnries and thier motherland, regardless of how developed their home countries are.

Sad to say, this is not the case with Hong Kong. Call it smart people in Hong Kong? practical? result-oriented? short-sighted? or just a simple case of lack of identity? I wonder.
