It depends on the light while shooting. If it's a bright day, a white surface (eg. a card board, styrofoam, or even a wall of a building) can reflect considerable amount of light to model. But it can't work for a long distance. That means U have to place it close to the model, usually within 1-2m. If it's cloudy day, a white surface won't work. Then U have to use a silver or gold board to reflect light. I like DIY. U can go to $10 shop to buy a cooking stove mat (the cover that put underneath the cooking stove in kitchen), which has white and silver sides. U can use 2 pieces of long wood or aluminum to fix both edges of the mat so U can hold it easily. This is the 1st reflector I used before I bought a real reflector. Cheap but works fine! But when U use silver surface, U may need to place it farther away from the model as the reflected light from silver surface is much harsh. Try it! Good luck.

不過，陽光不錯的話 發泡膠板完全勝任
陰天的話再加錫紙亦可
