奇實而家D MPEG4機仔D質素仲好差,

我玩過SAMSUNG MPEG4機, 亦玩過SANYO MPEG4
(一提: samsung mpeg4靚過sanyo!!!)

D video 連VCD質素都未有,

而且Canon有另外一條DV機line,

DV機質素已經同DVD差唔多,又唔係貴,

講真玩video就正經D買部DV仔,
SONY細細部都唔駛4K!!!

仲有MPEG4, 1G先錄到一個鐘, 粒電都係用到一個鐘,
根本好唔成熟!!!

電話的mp3,相機還不是一樣

只要有市場，就有人會生產…

而且，現在的consumer product(not profession) 都傾向單一化
要multifunction

如果要質量好自然會買DV啦
但一般人只要有就好了(例如我, v570 mpeg4+23mm 是我可以接受無手動的原因)

所以…不要那麼憤慨:)

有時拍snap shot, movie會係即興, 無可能時時刻刻都帶住部dv+dc, 而且mpeg4 方便儲存管理, 如果我買v550時Canon 有出mpeg4 dc我一定買佢. 最新dc仔還未有真係有d out 了.

It is just like the movie resolution of camera in the old days.

I remember 4 -5 years ago, very very few cameras with movie resolution of 640 x 480 @ 30 fps. I've got one, ie. FujiFilm S602. As I know, another camera was Sanyo MZ-3

But now, most of the cameras equipped with movie resolution of 640 x 480 @ 30fps. It almost becomes an essential function.

I think 3 to 4 years later, MPEG4 movie will become very common.

I agree with kkkleung ! I also think that MPEG4 movie DC should be a common thing in near future.
I just bought a consumer type DC (Samsung i50) , the major reason to buy it is the mpeg4 movie. Although the photo quality may not so good, the 640x480@30f movie is good to me to use.
As a non-professional user, I like such small size + mpeg4 movie function DC, I can put it in my pocket easily , whenever I meet something/someone special, I can take photo/movie easily. An good example I experienced is that last time I went to a Car Show and there was a precision driving show demo inside the venue, I took over 30min movie to record the cool driving skills. I took a lot of photos + movies and I was so happy that I could record such good memories by using a card sized DC. It is good idea to continue developing good mpeg4 movie function in DC so to fullfil our consumer type users (current DV still a bit bigger and harder to carry in pocket, and somehow harder to manage )
I think Canon(or other manufacturers) such work hard to implement mpeg4 in their consumer type DC, other their market will become smaller (at least I will not buy it )

乜鬼明信片 mode 丫, 影張相得番 2 百萬像素有鬼用咩, 亦冇人為左 date-stamp 要成日記住轉 mode, 唔通影開 5-6 百萬像素相, 為左影張相有 date-stamp, 又要轉佢做 2 百萬像素呀? 咁有 date-stamp ?相唔比你晒 8R/12R 啦? 真白痴!

係方便?相 download 落電腦時唔使續張直相揀來轉番, 唔知 Canon 而家?機呢個 function 係唔係咁樣, 我而家仲玩緊?部 S40 就冇呢個 function.

咁好多間都未有用mpeg 4既, 富士, sony, om, nikon, pana, etc, 又唔淨止canon...
不過成日留有一線既做法真係幾令人討厭 / 失望。當然結果就因為呢個做法令到部份消費者卻步, 最終自食其果。
好似有d 機有實時histogram, 有d 機又冇喎(推出時間差唔多既機); 又好似只有明信片先可以有date stamp, 真係諗極都唔明囉, 既然明信片模式可以印日期, 就唔係技術問題啦, 匪夷所思！
仲有好似無電量顯示呢d 小問題, 比人鬧左幾年, 出既機一代又一代咁比人繼續鬧, 咁小咁容易解決既事, 我真係唔明點解canon 唔肯去順應一下消費者既意願囉！！

唉, 跟住出既呢批新機, 大部份都加左可以影16:9既相片(相片only), 但就連3:2都無....我諗一個for 曬張用既比例點都實際d 掛, 更何況既然都cut 到16:9, 又點解唔加埋3:2上去呢? 有時真係唔明canon想點.....
我就係因為canon 冇3:2, 所以短期內都唔會考慮canon 既dc 仔啦。

真的有名信片模式喎! 我要黎晒4R相個個朋友都話好靚, 我好少晒8R/12R, 4R我足夠用了!
另外轉 MODE 好易喎!, 襟分唇制再推兩野左右就轉到,好user friendly!

S2 IS 在04年推出時已有這個分唇, 打後大部份的都有.

S40…….都是一部好機, 不過好似舊D……
