Hey buddy,

My comparison is almost same as you, but I will consider FujiFilm F11 too, because this DC got very good reputation, the noise level is very low, good at night mode. But the cons are it doesn't support Mpeg4, LCD is dim, thick body.

Therefore, up to now, I compare A10 with Z850. But A10 is bad design compare with old model s5n, s4... Z850 got very good design, heavy metal design is very impresive. A10 is too plastic.

Z850
pros:
1. Good solid metal design
2. A lot of scene( multi-shoot.....)
3. Power Flash
4. Bright LCD
5. Long battery life up to 440 shoots

Cons:
1. high level noise

A10
Pros:
1. DivX (Don't know the quality diff with Mpeg4 yet in this DC)
2. Less noise
3. Real Anti-shaking (Basically cannot see big diff with Z850, someone give advise pls)
4. Higt Quality LCD 230,000 pixels

Cons:
1. Too plactic feel, not solid, the look is so bad that nothing compare with Z850.
2. Only 150 shoots battery life.


I would rather wait 2 months and see if Pentax got better design. Someone please give me more advise, I want to see Photo comparison indeed. Thank you very much!

DCfever web page got photo samples. Photos taken from both A10 & F11 are good, Z850 is not comparable. From the discussion forum on 8 Apr, there is a friend named bchang, he posted some night photo shots without using stand and you can read the power of real optical anti-shake from those two pictures. I will choose A10, the only negative comment is battery not long lasting, but even good cameras like Canon got the same problem. Have not seen any samples of Mpeg 4 DivX movie from A10 but I guess 640x480 at 30f/s shouldn't be too bad.

an extra battery will solve the problem...

and the battery dock of A10 can chargr 2 battery at the same time...
