兩個跟機軟件都user friendly，但Panasonic 跟機軟件比較全面功能，例如有全景製作，及SDveiwer。
在拍攝Video時，P850用Mpeg 4，FZ7用Quick Time。

quicktime都可以係motion jepg and mp4 ga

P850唔係 p880 喎, 呢部好似麻麻地, 我未用過, 不過睇sample就覺得冇 fz-7咁好, kodak好似出左一部新既叫 z612, 可以睇埋呢部喎, 都係高倍變焦 + 防手振

Don't just see photo's taken by just one DC; compare the SAME scene. In the world of DC friends, some die hard guys may take a bias view on a particular BRAND (e.g. KXXXX, CXXXX, NXXXX, PXXXXX) DON'T BE FOOLED BY THESE GUYS as they may have their personal reason to promote a particular brand, e.g. they wanna sell their gargets at a higher 2nd hand market price

I WAS ONCE fooled by a salesman who sold a V5x0 (KXXXX) to my friend & me who said that KXXXX brand was famous & taking photo very quickly; my friend eventually bought that DC at $2XXX, 3 days later he wanna sell that DC to me at $1500 because he did not like the huge amount of noise & the slow saving time after taking photo. I bought that DC to me & I played that DC for 1 month, then resold to 2nd hand shop $1400.

我覺得而家?機 "好" 同 "差" 唔會爭咁遠,

FZ7, P850, S3IS, Z612 可以睇功能手感同外型來買, 各有優點同缺點, 但相片質素唔一定爭好遠.

Z612 只係用左幾日, 都係手持隨便影一?試機相, 腳架都冇用過, Long Exposure 都係放係欄杆之類.

其實所謂 unbiased reviews, 都係 biased, 因為各評論家都係睇自己喜好?寫, 有時有?優點, 評論唔重視, 例如 MPEG4 慳位, 好多評論都唔會點提

of course high or low quality may be your personal view, but LENS SHARPNESS, CONTRACT, IMAGE SAVING TIME, BUFFER SIZE, CCD SIZE, NOISE LEVEL etc. are 100% not personal view.

For example, u may consider the image taken by your Z612 as cool or good, I personally think that the night shots are TOTALLY acceptable for a $1000 DC BUT NOT FOR A $3000 DC.

Reason:
1. full of flare
2. CA even near central
3. wrong colour balance (sodium street lamp is yellow, right? may be something wrong with auto white balance)
