Dear Sirs,

I am using 20D and Scandisk Ultra II 1G and want to buy another CF card 4G for my trip. Want to know which one is better?

I think Scandisk is reliable but $$

Don't know Kingston or Transcend, but they are cheaper.

Because I heard Transcend does not always work well in Canon.

Pls help.

May I ask have you checked the current retail price of your favourite CFs? If you still trust Sandisk, why switch to other brand just to save a few bucks? Yes, 4GB CF is still pricey now (whatsoever brand). So what?! If you need it (say, RAW thing, right?), go for it. Well, 2GB is a sensible alternative anyway. Happy shopping and shooting!

my idea is not buying 4g card. maximum is 2g. try to think if the 4gb card dies, you will lose 4gb pictures. so just buy 2 x2gb is a safe mode. but i don't buy brands except sandisk and lexxar. just the saem idea, if they are having problems, you will lose all pictures that cannot be taken again.

I am the user for Transcend Memory card that being used in my EOS350D, it perform stable and quick response (120X), but the retail price just $450. Just for your reference.
