I found my D50 sometimes cannot focus (using auto focus on center spot).

It happens when 1)the object is grey in color, or 2)object is black and light condition is poor. I always have the AF light on but don't helps. Any brothers got this problem too or any suggestion?

Are you too close from the object? I remember it should at least 0.38m.

BTW, try to focus on the edge of the object (or focus on the highest contrast point)

光線太暗亦不能,請留意輔助對焦燈有效距離.
