各位, 請問你地會揀邊支廣角鏡配Nikon D50呀?

我現時用近18-70mm Kits鏡。
由於此鏡擁有27mm的視角，視野已經大分之廣闊。
經濟又低用。

現正考慮這一支鏡頭，
Tamron SP AF 14mm F2.8 Aspherical IF (69E)。
不過比較貴。

50mm is standard lens
1.8 is the max. aperture size
below 50mm is classified as wide angle lens

pcbus, for ultra wide lens, i think:

1st) Tokina 12-24mm F4
2nd) Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6
3rd) Nikon 12-24mm F4G IF-ED (this lens will be 1st if you are rich enough and use Nikon DSLRs)
4th) Tamron 11-18mm F4.5-5.6

NOTE: I don't know anything about Canon lenses, therefore no such opinion

P.S. Unless you are a demanding user, otherwise, DON'T even think any prime ultra wide lens!

Are good choice la.

You can use the F1.8 in very low light condition and low iso with out flash la.

Yes this is true for Nikon since Nikon has not full frame CCD. Standard lens 50mm when use in Nikon DSLR become 85mm

Not true for full frame Canon DSLR 5D or 1Ds!

I am also using D50. Below is my recommendation:

Super wide:
Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6
Tokina 12-24 f4

( I used Sigma before but sold already. I do not recommend Tamron as the maximum aperture is too small f4.5 only, Nikon is too expensive)

Wide:
Tamron 17-50 f2.8 (it's also a standard zoom)
Or you can wait for the new Tokina 16-50 f2.8 coming in Nov 06. It's a bit more wide than Tamron

On DSLR with APS-C sensor, focal length >18-20mm cannot be regarded as Wide Lens.

Nikon 50 f1.8 - if using on full frame SLR, it is classified as "Standard Lens", but on APS-C DSLR, it becomes in a range between standard and telephoto (75mm).
