Hi all woundering what I need to perpare before I take the photos to develop them?? Do I have to change the size to 4R and DPI or will the printing house do all that?

"printing house" will not resize ur digital photos to 4R size
top and down will be cut a little bit if u don't resize ur photos urself

Thanks for your reply....do I have to increase the DPI too?? I know DC is 72dpi and I hear the printing houses is 300dpi???

Also how big is 4R I mean how much by how much should I re size...

sorry, i have no experience about DPI
size of 4R 4"x6" ratio is 2:3 ,which is different from that of digital camera

Do you touch up the photos on Photoshop b4 going to print??? Or let the people at the shop do the adjustments??

but I will make some editing if needed

When you open a DC photo with Photoshop, if you DC resulotion is 1200x1600dpi then you will see the size of the photo is 16.7"x22.2" (1200/72dpi and 1600/72dpi).

Printing house using 300dpi to print the photo. If you want to print 4R that mean the output size is 4"x6" then the minimum resulotion of your photo should be 1200x1800dpi (4x300dpi=1200dpi and 6x300dpi=1800dpi).
