開焛光燈...行近白色地方 (好近), 影白色
用黑布放在鏡頭前, 影黑色
用mon調桌面底色為紅 / 綠 / 藍, 各影一張

試五只色, 在lcd及mon裡用肉眼看
看lcd及ccd有無死點

如果得一點,係咪都可以走去換呢??

死點: 例如整幅相都係白色, 果粒點唔係, 便算死點

請將相片放入電腦check check有無個粒白點

有: ccd有死點, 一定要換
無: 只係lcd有死點
若水貨又過了7日, 看看鋪頭肯唔肯換, 唔換算啦
若行貨, 我會攞去整好佢

Informed by Wing Shing in MongKok, for LCD, Cannon accept return only more than 3 dead/ abnormal pixel. However, Wing Shing will change another to you if you can find it before your payment.

Therefore, I suggest you focus on checking the dead pixel while you purchase (because you can check the CCD dead pixel at home. They accept return for any pixel within 7 days testing period).

According to my friend's information, to test the LCD dead pixel immediately in the shop, you should take one black and one white color photos.

Taking white color photo: set the resolution and compression rates to best-> choice M mode-> set aperture to largest (for A40 F2.8) -> set shutter to longest (for A40 15s)-> take a photo firing to any light.

Taking black color photo: same as above but cover the len and inverse the aperture/ shutter setting (set aperture to smallest and set shutter to shortest)
