casio will have a new dc later, is slim than r4 also have 3x zoom. and i use the r4 almost a week, i feel that when it set the white balance at auto, the colour will become red. also is not good for take pic at night !

but....wt's the price of QV-R4 hang and water goods in DCC??

I'm using QV-r4 and satisfy with the quality and functions.
The lag time is just 0.01 second. Built-in Best shot functions are useful.
"Hong" is $3580 + 64MBSD.

See the review discussion in this site and you can see that most people using QV-R4 satisfy with this DC ! "Hong" for QV-R4 in DCC is about $3380. (Nothing included) It is a really good Snap-shoot DC but seriesly I suggest you buy S45 as it have more manual function and the "Water" is about $3500 in DCC ! But of course QV-R4 is much smaller ! Instead if you want a small DC, I suggest you go for Canon V3 as it can record sound movies ! Seriesly i don't think 3x zoom is much difference than 2x zoom !
