The EOS film-to-rear mount distance is LARGER than the FD/FL film-to-rear mount distance. Direct adaptor mount, such as m42-->EOS or Nikon-->EOS, is not possible

I have a 18 years old FD-EOS adaptor, but it has lens inside, which mean the f-stop is changed, the quality is NOT good, I stop using it for a long time.

Inifinite ok
Aperature adjust ok
BUT must be step down to the aperature while shooting.

The aperature can be changed by the ring on the FD lens, A, M mode are ok.

Flash also ok.

I have many FD lens for my old F1 & A1, but don't have the mood to use on EOS DSLR.
