So which is better? Compusa has a 128 smartmedia is $34 and it is cheap. But I want to find a larger storage. Or the two kinds is the same.

CF has larger storage capacity than SM and comparatively less cost. However, some CF cards have busy problem when recording movie. You can solve the problem by formatting larger block size using computer. IBM Microdrive has no problem at all and the cost is lesser in terms of HK$ per mega byte.
