sigma係全180度魚眼, 就算用aps-c都有大半個黑圈, 用135就有全個黑圈, 其他180度對角魚眼就冇黑圈

Hihi Ah Chai, I am a Nikkor 10.5 user and as far as I know, there is only and only one diagonial fisheye for DX format cameras. So can you share more on the 16mm Russian fisheye ?

Would you mind to tell me what are "Nikkor 10.5 user " and "diagonial fisheye "?

MF 16mm Russian fisheye provide a choice of Nikon mount (not screw mount with Nikon adapter).

It means that the body can support mechanical aperture and metering of the lens.

However, it is not compatible with new metering system of most of the Nikon digital cameras.

But, I think the problem can be easily solved by the method of bracket exposure.

I got a new one for $1600 five years ago. Both the quality and the price were good.

Usually, we use fisheye just in some occasions. So I think it may not worth to got an expensive one.

I only realized that the 紫邊 was quite obvious, after maybe a hundred or so pics taken with the 10.5 fisheye lens. But I am quite happy with that as the F 2.8 and the 180 degree diagonal (對角) view is quite useful in low light or really tight environments. I spent $4700 to buy the 10.5 lens and I think it worths every cent I spent. Love it !

A crop at 100% view and a crop at 50% are provided for your discussion. This is a straight RAW output without any saturation adjustment and sharpening. However, I believe the obvious 紫邊 in the pics is due to the harsh environment the lens is exposed to (the neon light maybe more then 5-stop brighter then the dark background), which doesn’t truly represent the lens’ real performance in normal day-to-day environment.

本來想買nikon 10.5mm但等極都冇貨後買左呢支8mm sigma 定焦
估唔到重正!成像很好,又可以裁相.
變焦冇定焦咁好要留意.
