近日從可靠消息得知Canon好大可能會更改接環換新鏡，他謂目前有大部份紅圈鏡頭的成像能力未能滿足1Ds MarkII，而將會公佈的後斷機的象素將會突破20m 象素。所Canon會特出過一批鏡頭，另一方面舊的M42鏡在Canon機身上有良好的電子及像距接合，更改接環便獨食這個鏡頭群。各位師兄對此有何見解，請給予高見。

其實大部份鏡頭根本就未能達到 film 的 max. resolution, 只係大部份 d scanner 同晒相都去唔到 film 既 max. resolution.

但係數碼就唔同, 如果枝鏡 resolution 同 sensor resolution 相差得遠就起電腦裡面好易睇到!

If canon really change the mount to fit the new body,the old lens will come to nothing.I hope canon can take further consideration before this great action.Maybe, don't change the mount if possible!Thank you for your kind concerning to my personal opinion!

This looks like blowing water news. People see Canon lowered the lens price and have this guessing.

Canon mount is already big, how changing the mount can improve the lens quality ? If change to bigger lens and mount, then the body need to bigger too like 645 / 120.

我個人認為呢個改 MOUNT 既風都好流下, CAN0N 用呢個 EF MOUNT 都出到 FF DSLR, 你話 NIKON 就話者, 而且改 MOUNT 係好冒險, 冇晒的老相好, 而家 CAN0N 最想解決既野, 應該係佢出名兼響晒朵既 BACK FOCUS !

這不會是一間企業的考慮，佳能以前都試過，難保以後唔會。當然它的決定可能會錯，但係守舊的後果可能更慘。

I don't think the mount will contribute much to the resolution of the len, if you need higher resolution either improve the quality of the glass or increase the size of the mount but the mount of Canon already very 'big' which is restricted by the sensor format.

Unless they change the format otherwise how can they just increase the size of mount without changing the format size. But if the format will be changed then it is no longer like the traditional film size, in film's age, 135 already win the 120 format, will Canon go back to develop a bigger size camera ? I doubt that !! EOS 1 series already very big for normal people.

In addition, the EF mount already able to communicate with the body and len with quite a lot of information eg focal length, apeture control, exposure control, distance of object focused etc. What else need to be added for a 'correct' exposure control ?
