hi guys, do you have any comment for the following lens. I have plan to buy 1 to take portrait photo. I am confuse why Nikon need 10000, is it just because the brand?

If you have spare money, buy Nikon AF-S 28-70mm f/2.8D IF-ED Zoom , otherwise, buy Tamron AF 28-75mm f/2.8 SP XR Di LD ASL IF Macro (A09) Zoom.

I have Nikon 28-70 2.8, this lens is with nice color, broken, and good PQ at full open 2.8. This lens can catch detail but not as sharp as 17-55. So it is good for portrait.

If your budget not up to 10K, then can consider Sigma or Tamron. Sigma with better brokeh, Tarmon with better sharpness
