The noise is worse than mobile phone, use AA Alkaline but run power at 30 photo.

My father in law travelled China with Olympus FE xx. He complained buying a lot of AA akaline for it.

I don't believe it and check it when he back, the GP 2500 AA battery just working with D200, putting in Olympus FE xx can immediately show no power. But the battery put back at D200 can still work !

How come Olympus can make a DC drawing more power than a DSLR - D200 !!

The FE xx photo is nightmare. My father in law shoot around 150 photo in China, the photo with Sunny day is okay, but once under expo a bit / indoor / night shot the noise is the worst I ever see !

Because this FE xx was paid by my wife for her father, so she forced me to PS all photo with acceptable PQ to show other people ! Oh my god !!

I had an Olympus mju 600 once(a gift from HK Bank's credit card), it's picture qualities were more or less the same as described by Rol, so I sold it and get a S5600 instead.
