結果我買左支Sigma,仲crack左做全段marco,哈哈

我就臨埋門一腳, 買o左龍仔.
雖然支色馬可以creck, 全焦段macro,好吸引.
但係我怕佢「甩皮」so 都係揀o左龍仔。

日光日白用佢地影相, 係冇問題o既.
不過如果用到tele end 影相o既, 手就要好定先得.

反而我想問下我有幾支鏡想買,唔知買邊支先,我用緊kit鏡,50 1.8,sigma 70-300 4-5.6,影人影景各半,所以有85 f1.8,100 f2.8 marco,sigma 10-20,龍仔A13同CanonEF-s 10-22,大家會點睇？

There is a Canon 70-300 4.5-5.6 IS but it cost around 3500~4000.

You can buy Sigma (water good ~ 1200) and cracked it to full marco with hand can cracked it I cracked my own.

Just like someone said IS can provide you with more flexibility when the lighting condition is not good like in a cloudy day or you can use a mono-pod if you think tripod is too big.

it all depends on what you want, those lens mentioned by you are for different purposes, but with some overlapping, 85 1.8 (~2600) of course is mainly for portrait but still can take landscape photos but not a wide one.

For 10-20 and 10-22, all depends on money and brand issue, the sigma one is very good but apeture is half stop smaller (4.5-5.6) while Canon is 3.5-4.5 and Canon cut its price and make it more attractive now.

For 100 2.8 macro (3900), it is mainly for macro of course but you can also use it for portrait if you consider 2.8 is big enough, anyway, you would use 1.8 for the 85 as it is not very good at 1.8 unless you absolutely need it.

For you boys and girls information, I have 50 1.8 (excellent with its price)
I don't mind the outlook and the built quality and manual focus is not for me.

I have 85 1.8, very good for portrait and I don't feel it is not as sharp as the 50 1.4.

I have sigma 10 -20, very good but also big distortion but for this ultra wide you have to accept it, buy it for two reasons, cheaper than originial but image quality good enough, for APS-c len I don't think I need Canon's len (but now it is cheaper if I buy them now I may choose Canon)

I have sigma 70-300, good for its price but with some difficulties to use when light is not enough, buy it because I used it in film age, emotional issue and cheap.

I prepare to buy 100 2.8 macro too, as I like macro photo and take for flowers (flower show is coming from 16/3/07 onwards)

Same old story, realise what you need and check for their performance and if you can afford buy some you like, if budget is tight don't bother, cheap len don't mean poor quality, just understand your equipment and use it wisely, eg the best apeture is 5.6 try to use it more and don't alway use the max. apeture it alway not the best apeture at all.

No IS use tripod or monopod or use higher iso, remember Canon is famous for its high iso performance, for 400D you can use 1600 with a reasonable result.

嗯, 我睇其他師兄o既post,
都話易就creck o左.

之前睇過creck o既方法:
先扭到支鏡用到Macro,
跟住就按實粒 Macro 制,
再將支鏡扭返去70mm 那邊.
如果夠力，就會o拍一聲, 咁就creck o左.

但我冇呢支鏡,自己未試過creck 鏡.
你可以search o下o的post.
我記得, 呢度同dchome 都有師兄出過post,
教點creck 呢支鏡.

我未聽過crack壞支鏡,不過crack左之後,有時會轉唔返normal,不過一轉用手動就可以正常返,水貨天X 1250。

要買Canon就唔好買 75-300，買就買70-300 IS ，係就係貴，但質素好過舊一代同埋有IS。用得咁長焦，冇IS好麻煩。

Just like other C hing said as above, to crack the Sigma is simple the method mentioned is correct and actually you can reverse the action and it just like nothing happened before.

Don't worry, the crack do not involve any option issue just to force a switch no longer to prevent you to zoom smaller than 200 mm in marco mode, it will not damage your len.

Sorry I don't have this len so go to have a look on the site I gave it to you. Remember the len is not use by me is use by YOU, my opinion just a reference as everybody has own requirements on quality and to me I will also consider the price of the len. Your own feeling will be most important. If you think the quality is ok for you and the price you also consider reasonable I would say it will be good enough.

I have a 70-200 4.0L IS, the image quality is excellent but it cost me HK$8800, I accept the price with its quality and IS function but I still think the Sigma 70-300 is value for money, it cost me only 1/5 of the 4.0L but the image quality is definitely NOT only 1/5.

Of course everyone use Canon know how good L series len they can be but the price is also very high. So just always remember what do you want and how much you prepare to pay.

Know your equipment and it always can produce good photos for you.
