Hello, my name is Tom. I don't know how to type Chinese, hope you can understand what I mean...

I'm using Casio QV2900, I found 3 "features" when using it:

1. The LCD show the brightness of photo is ok, but it becomes VERY dark after download to PC.
2. The colour of image is tends to blue, compare with actual object.
3. The setting (intensity of flash, etc) was reset to default (normal) after power off.

How to improve by change of setting? Please advise...

1, 唔好太信個SCREEN ,加定光(補光)無蝕底,如果個screen靚則相一定較黑(尤其是室內)

Thanks for your advice. Actually I'm a beginner to use DC, QV2900 is attractive to me because it was low price model, which has full set manual function and swivel lens. However, after used 9 months, I found my need is easy to use and quality….

I have watch your photos which taken by QV4000, some of them also have close up. How about your comment?

Frankly qv2900 is a very bad image quality camera. It is a well known fact, as you are not the 1st one to find it bad. But trust me, you can learn very good skill and know a lot about digital camera in trouble-shooting with it. Don't give up!
I will suggest you:
1. DO read more forum posts and learn more about DC. 2900 is bad, but there is IN FACT no such consumer DC as all-round good quality. Very often every DC have to balance between strength and weakness. So before you change to another DC better know what you really need and which strength you really can get with your next choice.
2. If you really really tired of exploring, better choose a big lens camera next time. DON'T choose small lens/aperture (like nikon) as they need more skill to get a good photo then you imagine...
