Please forgive me to ask a SLR related questions in this forum.

Did anyone here used Tamron XR 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 lens with Nikon SLR camera?

I would like to seek your comments. Did the pictures quality taken by this lens good and what is the price of it?

If I don't recall wrong, it's marking at HK$2780 in Wing Shing.
A very small and light 10.7x super zoom lens, distortion at 28mm and decrease on image contrast at 300mm is expected (even it has aspherical lens). If you want a lens for wide range of usage it is a good choice.

講真我就唔會買呢d 全天侯鏡喇.. 不過如果 budget 有限.. 選它也沒有辦法吧.. expect 要 150mm@f/5.6, 250mm@f/6.7, 300mm@f/11以上才有不錯的resolution吧.. 200mm 開始有變形.. 300mm 時有黑角.

Actually, I have already had a nikkor 35-135 lens and just want to explore any other good lens for my Nikon SLR F-90.

BTW, any suggestion on "standard" lens for Nikon SLR F-90?

how about Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 EX HSM APO ? $5050 行貨. very sharp.. if u want ultrazoom.. u can purchase 1.4X or 2X Teleconverters..
This len is very sharp.. and have very good comment on internet..

冇咁慘呀? 喱類變焦鏡通常變形位及都係嚮廣角端, 而長焦距位o既問題通常係反差減低及出現輕微黑角等情況, 但都未至到好似你講咁, 300mm時要用f11先至OK咁誇~ 再講喱支XR鏡咁細支輕身, 即使只當佢28-200mm用都唔錯。

如果要標準變焦鏡, 而家多數都係買24-85mm(ED)G果支AF-S鏡o黎用, 價錢同騰龍果支28-300mm XR差唔多。

你所說的這支鏡在同級鏡中是很好啦~
輕巧,不是太執著你會覺得很方便的

既然你已有35-135
可以再敗多支長距離zoom的
andrew兄的 sigma 70-200
nikon 80-200 小黑(通常建議這支)
又或者舊少少的nikon 70-210都是不錯~
