Hi ! I want to ask question for F100's white balance problem ! At manual, I can set up the white balance ! But for the indoor, after I set up the white balance, if I use the flash, the photo become blue ! How can I solve this problem ? I heard that after set up the white balance, we can't use the flash, is it right ? How to use a small white card to set up the white balance ?

If you want to use flash, you should activate the flash while you set the white balance.

由於閃燈的色溫是以日光為標準, 所以用閃燈時WB一定要Set做日光白平衡, 否則會因閃出來的光色溫太高而令主體顏色偏藍。

附帶一句, 這不是F100的問題, 是所有相機的情況都是一樣。即使用菲林機, 如果用燈光菲林(一般用的是日光菲林), 也會出現類似問題。

The technicial support of Minolta told me that I only need to face the DC to some area and press the white balance, then it will automatically adjust itself ! But seems not really accurate for auto adjust !

我唔知我用得o岩唔o岩, 不過我一向都咁做..
要用內閃而white bal就唔o岩時, 就會係現場搵白色物體對焦按flash,
then set it as white bal......最好都係叫subject自由拎住白色咭or 紙..
hehe...因為distance 唔同又有關係...

Sorry that I do not use F100, I really don't know how to set white balance for F100. But it is quite similar in setting white balance for my G2 and S602Z. You can try whether it works. Firstly, select Fill-in flash(強制閃燈). Then, shoot to a piece of white paper, and then set the white balance. The flash will light once when you set the white balance. If it does not work, I recommend you to set the white balance back to "auto".

So, I think you should set the whit balance to "Auto" when you should use flash indoor. It will give you accurate colour temperature in most cases. Try and enjoy it!

我唔係好明????? 點解你地會話set WB時會用閃燈??????
照理Set WB是要以現場o既光o黎做白色o既指標, 如果用閃光燈的話, 由於閃燈o既色溫根本就係以日光為標準, 只要將WB Set做日光(太陽光)或Auto, 閃出o黎o既相就會有正常色溫至o岩。

定話係有乜o野特殊情況先至被迫咁做(set WB時用閃燈)呢? @_@???
