Nowadays, lots of DC has got movie capture features, but which one has got the best photo taking but also the movie capture capability? Your comment on Sanyo CA65, Sanyo HD2, Canon TX1, Pansonic FX100 is much appreciated. But if you believe there's any other machine can perform better, certainly, suggestions are welcome.

If you have samples on these machines, it will be perfect!

Panasonic FZ50, it can take movie of 848*480 at 30 fps
Also it can zoom while recording movie.

The photo quality is very very good if u shoot in RAW, but just ok good if shoot in JPEG.

Thanks Obi-wan, how about FX100? It can take 720i movie, even though its only 15 frams/sec. and its much smaller. And base on the various comments, it seems the photos are very good as well.

By the way, what's "dpreview"?

I have not used FX100 before, but 15 fps is too slow for a smooth movie

quality normally go with the price ma. <-- 不一定, 日本牌子local agent 開高價o者, 睇下行貨同水貨價差別就知! 例如 Lumix TZ-3, 行貨開賣時要 $3700, 水貨只係 $2400.

而 Kodak 一向美國佬作風, 全球定價唔差好遠, 唔會俾代理 mark 高來賣.

其實, 而家 DC 係好平左好多. $2000 係 normal price.
就算 Fuji F31fd 都係賣 $2000 以內.
