I have the followings,

Canon
50 f1.8 mark II excellent value for money.

50 f2.5 macro
1:1 live size converter (although Canon said it can only be used on 50 f2.5 but actually it can be used on almost all lens and turn it to macro len but you will lost the focus in infinity, I tried it on 70-200 f4.0 and it works)
85 f1.8 excellent portrait len
100 f2.8 macro - sharp and focus fast
17-40 f4.0L good for both FF or APS-C
24-105 f4.0L - I like the range and the IS is very useful
70-200 f4.0L IS - excellent image quality and the 4-stop IS is unbeatable

EF-S
17-55 f2.8 IS - good just like L lens for EF-S

Some other non-Canon lens
Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 good but distortion is huge
Sigma 70-300 f4-5.6 cheapest telezoom image quality ok
Tamron 28-75 f2.8 - this one quality close to Canon 24-70 f2.8L but weight only 510g and cost only $ 2850 very good len)

我未有tele，都想知多d 70-200 f/2.8呢支鏡既特性(重量已經知得好清楚)。
同埋有 is 成像會唔會真係差d呢﹖

都好滿意

唯獨個zoom ring 玩多幾下就好鬆

同埋間中對唔到or 對錯焦

仲有50 f1.8

超抵玩

不過小弟極少影人 好少用呢支

MISBWORKSHOP,

Don't be puzzle by the dust and moisture seal, it need to be work with 1D series body to provide dust and moisture seal.

You have to choice between the two for the apeture 2.8 vs 4.0 and weight 1350g vs 760 g and no IS vs IS.

Image quality will be very similar both are very good indeed.

I select 4.0 IS because of the weight and IS; the 2.8 IS is very attractive however it is too heavy to me.

最後係昨日買左小小白is, 我都係貪佢輕D, 最多第時再加支300 IS F4 L! 之前以前個防震冇乜實際用途, 因我之前用Nikon AF-S 24-120mm VR就真係睇唔到太大效果, 但原來小小白果is勁好多, 有D我以為手震既相都影到! 同埋F4個景深效果都幾好....

It seems that the lens group for image stabliser will NOT affect the image quality.
