Go for the HD1000, otherwise you have to upgrade your DV shortly.

Just realized HD1000 has been released, but a bit expensive - $6900. There will be a HD 700, but do know the price range, and the detail specification. Any Comments and inputs?

The difference between CA & CG65 is CA can dive but CG cannot. But anyway, CG65 is out of stock and cease production already. HD1000 is very good for video but just 4M photo taking, depends on what you need. The problem about CA65 is the max. resolution is 640x480 movie. A bit out of date. That why I finally bought the Kodak Z1253, which has 1080x702 movie + 12M photo. Very satisfy with its performance so far.

The first Sanyo video cam of this kind (I forgot the model no.) cost more than $8000, at which time a 1G SD card cost nearly $1000.
If you get a low quality cam (in term of resolution) today, you will face a upgrade problem after the HD broadcasting has launched.
