auto focus may be possible, because the effective aperture is lowered by 1.4X or 2.0X teleconverter inserted between the lens and the camera body.

u have to use manual focus on the darkened focusing screen, only very lucky guy can shoot a flying bird using such combination.

In fact the tele converters are for teles with large aperature, not really suitable for zoom with small aperature

tele唔夠大光圈, 好難影得飛緊o既雀sharp架, 加左1.4/2x更大鑊, 解決方法係加iso令快門高速d, 1來可達安全快門, 2來凝固動作

Not necessary to use 大光圈 & high shutter speed, panning on a bird with my good old 20D at 5fps at a low speed with the cheap cheap sigma 70-300APO can give 1/5 sharp photos

需知動態拍攝和靜態攝影是兩碼子事。
