It is really difficult to tell. Your concern is whether you believe in the shopkeeper who recommend you something that you don't know how to choose. Anyway, you should understand what you want before buying something. Then, you don't need to be highly influenced by the shopkeeper. Every salesman wants to recommend somethings which they have more stock or can sell at higher profit. You cannot say that they are dishonest. As long as their price is not more experience, or sell you somethings with problems, it is very common to go through some sales talk before buying products. Right?
