Because importer need to earn extra money from u to provide warranty and for surplus.
But parallel imports have no warranty in HK, so the costs can be cheaper.
Generally they are the same in proudct but parallel goods may lack some bundled accessories such as rechargable battery to make its price even cheaper.
And anyway the difference in price can be very large sometimes.
