I just finish testing E3, the focusing speed is FASTER than 5D (both with kit lens), also very very good in dark area.

I am considering invest on E system for the telephoto lens, of course for wide angle lens, 5D is much better

I also played the E3 in the showroom yet. I found the focus speed is similiar to that of my 20D only.

If you go to the showroom, try to shoot at the "shining star" hanging from the false ceiling, the exposure has some problem occasionally.

Overall, built quality very good. But OM lens, not sure it is better than canon L and fixed focus lens (I think it should not be better).

請問用那一支鏡頭？印像當中showroom只是用14-54mm的舊lens (沒有SWD Motor)，對焦已經很快，如果用上新SWD鏡，對焦速度跟Canon的1D Mark III相約, 而且對焦相對準確 (但亦有人說E-3有走焦及對焦問題)。

要看看你用何測光模式了。

OM Lens只需用上High Grade那一個級的鏡頭 (Standard Lens的質數更明顯超越大部份同級鏡頭)，表現已經可以比美Canon L鏡了，更不用說走去使用銀圈鏡頭 (Super High Grade) 。另外，Olympus在醫學界，是光學儀器 (如內窺鏡等)的舉界聞名制造廠，醫學器材相對於我們使用的相機鏡頭有著更高及更精確的鏡片光學要求。Olympus是少數有能力研制「制作 制造鏡片/鏡頭的機器」 (<---看清楚，有兩個制做字眼，意思是不同的)的廠商。相對Canon，其光學技術能力有過之而無不及 (我不是討論Marketing)。

題外話：Nikon有一部份的高階鏡頭是由Olympus代工的。

There is no need to defense for any brand unless you work for that.
As consumer, we are glad to see more competition.

其實並不是" defense"，而是大家都「glad to see more "information".」，因為我見你寫「I think it should not be better」, 而我則寫出我所知的而已。

I am from myself. 不記得說，E-3的LCD是出名的差，不知會否有關係。

「拍攝使用標準分辨率測試紙，奧林巴斯ZD 35-100mm/F2用的是E-300機身，佳能EF 70-200mm/F2.8則是用佳能的頂級機型1D Mark Ⅱ，兩部機都是用RAW拍攝，所有拍攝均使用自拍模式；後期用PhotoShop CS2的3.1版Camera RAW處理，色溫採用同一設置，其餘曝光、陰影、亮度、對比度、飽和度、銳化程度、亮度平滑、雜色深度減低、色差、暈影等所有參數均設置為0，曲線調節為線性，絕對保證公平公正。

「分辨率總結

　　奧林巴斯的表現讓人驚奇，但佳能小白的名氣實在太大，雖然測試都是自己一手一腳做出來，但說實在還是有點難以置信它會就此被打敗。

　　誠然這種測試帶有一定的主觀片面性，不過即便算上這次使用的小白並不是一支很新的鏡頭，但奧林巴斯同樣也只是一枚工程樣品而已；我們也曾懷疑過是否是佳能失焦的老毛病又犯了，但這次用的可是1D Mark Ⅱ啊；當然我們也會懷疑是否1D Mark Ⅱ的機身震動太大，但從長焦端的表現上看卻沒有感受到有震動的影響。

　　退一步說，沒人能保證這類測試100%沒有偏差，但誰也不能否認奧林巴斯ZD 35-100mm/F2的確是一個好頭。」
