The extra features are only useful if you often take photos in studios, or you often edit your photos in Photoshop before output. I think less than 1% of the owner will do that.

If you need to ask this question here (i.e. Minolta 7Hi 定 Nikon 5700), means that you are the 99% of the users whom will never use the extra features. XD

If you really like Minolta, then buy 7i straight. But I personally prefer 5700.
