我係新手想買部450D，對鏡頭唔係太熟識，有野想請教各位師兄：

1. 只買body再配鏡頭? 定係買KIT好? (kit: EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS 鏡頭)

2. 如果淨買body, 加支A16 & Canon 50MM, F1.8係咪一個好選擇??A16 & Canon 50MM, F1.8大約幾錢?

3 直度係D乜野??係咪必須買?如果係又大概幾錢??

4. 我主要係用O黎影囡囡，想影到淺景深效果，請問如果囡囡正在跑跑跳跳又可唔可以影到淺景深呢?

The new kit lens 18-55IS is quite good and it cost you only around $ 600 as the kit lens but will cost you $ 1300 when buy it separately. Zoom will provide a more flexible usage.

You can buy the Canon 50mm f1.8 for shallow depth of field for you daugther, this also cost for $ 600.

A16 range 18-50 f2.8 from 18-50mm without IS depends on what you want and how much you want to pay. $ 2850 for A 16.

Vertical grip can let you to take a vertical orientation photo without twisting you hand, it provides another shutter botton on the vertical postion. As no cost has been mentioned yet by Canon, I guess it will cost around $1000, the vertical grip for 400D is $ 950.

我明直度係乜喇，如果唔係必要的話咁我暫時都係唔買住，到時有須要再考慮啦~

as a beginner, no need buy expensive lenses, u will not enlarge your photos to 42" to see the difference among the lenses NOR u will crop lens.

After 1-2 years, u find yourself like photography much, buy other DSLR with faster focusing speed & lenses of higher quality.

It's really no need to buy a battery grip unless u shoot very fast in the vertical mode, because the combination its too heavy. Moreover a battery grip on an amateur DSLR such as 400D/450D does not give u a "pro" feel.

IS means Image Stabliser, which can let you to use slower shutter speed without blur but if the object is moving it can help.

Will new model arrive in HK later than in other countries?

HK market are quite important in those brand's mind as HK people willing to upgrade their camera and other stuff (like cars) much faster than other people, so the introduction date would not be later than other place very much may be even at the same time.

Just like BMW and Benz they introduce new model on the same date in HK as Japan both are the first place in Asia. But now the market of China are so big than they may be even earlier.

Thanks. that's great. the same does not apply to some other brands. for example, Epson introduces printers to UK much earlier than to HK. sometimes, we are 4 to 6 months late. sometime, they introduce slightly modified but inferior model. i am a bit disappointed with them.
