本人新手一名, 想問下各位, 邊部機好d?? 因為我睇番兩部個Body都差唔多價錢!!! 所以唔知邊部好!!!
聽好多人講Nikon D80係一部好機, 但係相比Canon 450d, Nikon D80又冇左live view, 同防塵!!!!
所以想問下大家意見!
同埋,如果我買Canon 450d, 應該會買kit set, 再加EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS同EF 50mm f/1.8 II !!! 我都想問下, lee 3支鏡好唔好呀??? 本人會影風景多少少, 相比影人像, 應該會係 6比4, 又或者7比3!!!!

d80 is a out day item but still good

only the 12bit color and 14bit color is a very different

450d can do 14bit color d80 only 12bit

but d80 still a little bit professtional feel but the funtion is the last generation


but any way depend on you
you first go to shop try first and also depend on your friend
if your friend is nikon man than you can buy d80

if your friend is canon man than go for 450d

becasue you can borrow lens fr your friend

Body price of 450d is about 6k but D80 is almost 8k........similar?

450d should be more close to D60......

First of all, let us consider the body first.

Level : Entry vs middle **
Age : New vs 2-year la
live view : 2-mode vs none
LCD : 3" vs 2.5" plus
Dust Cleaning :　Yes vs No
Processor bit : 14-bit vs 12-bit
Picture pixel :　12m vs 10m
High-light Priority vs D-lighting

if price-to-performance, D80 seems to be better....from my personal opinion....

In fact, the review report of 450D is not yet released in HK, I suggest that u wait for more reports and the price of 450D may drop a little bit, then price-to-performance will be better.

And I agree with "Hanny" that if your friends use Nikon or Canon, then u buy it and share the lens with them.......

Personally, I am waiting for 450D review body, if it is not as good as D80, I will buy D80, otherwise I will buy 450D.

For lens, Canon and Nikon have similar lens with similar spec with similar price

18-55 IS vs 18-55 VR
55-250 IS vs 55-200 VR
50 1.8 vs 50 1.8

so when u decide buy which body, u will have similar lens......

唔該哂咁多位o既意見!!!
我都係諗住等多一排,睇多d canon 450d o既review先決定邊部!!!
同埋我canon 450d有防塵, 換鏡好似完全d咁!!!
其實,canon 450d 防塵有冇用呀???
同埋14bit 同 nikon d80 o既 12bit, 係咪有好大分別呀?
by the way, 雖然我都好大機會買canon 450d, 但係我都想聽下多d人o既意見先!!!

防塵 actully small dust can not prevent but also not make big problem on the picture

but some time when you are our door like country side some small fur
that when changing lens the 防塵system can 100% prevent it

i aways saw some people they blow ccd dust outdoor becuase may be some suddenly big dust appear than this 防塵system usefull

if for beginner i feel the picture style is useful for them than nikon

but if picture use raw the funtion is not much meaning

From my personal opinion,

One size cannot fit all.....

First of all, I am still waiting for 450D review report, during these 3 months, I try to find out more information, other model and lens....

Equipment is important for photo shooting but the technique .......is also one of important factors... U still shoot a GOOD photo with a DC.....

In some foreign review report, the best dust cleaning system
is seems to Olyxxxx. Even though u have cleaning system, the dust still can appear in the CMOS or inside the body of camera........
If there is no cleaning system, u can clean by yourself manually, there are some C-Hing sharing how to clean the dust in dcfever, I think it is useful...

I think D80 and 450D have similar features, but some of differences are mentioned in previous posts. After comparing with the functions by myself, I think both are good enough for myself, e.g. for vacation, living, snapshot....... As I am a layman for photo-shooting, D80 and 450D is good enough for me.....

For more details, from my layman view, I will concern the following features,
Noise control : D80 and 450D seem to be good at noise control
both have D-lighting or Light optimiser, when the light contrast of the scenery is high, I think this feature can help.
Focus : I think D80 is slightly better than 450D
Weight : D80 585g vs 450D 475g, I prefer a lighter one for travel.
Battery life : D80 will take more photos than 450D....


Now, my concern is the price of 450D and the review report.
and one of my friend uses Canon too, I can borrow his len.......

Just share my point of view, if anything wrong, pls forgive me
