I have the same question to choice between the three models you listed. Firstly, I love the S602 but it is too big for me. Secondly, I think the image quality of S304 is better than C730 but S304 is lack of manual function. Finally, I brought the C730.
Although C730 has its problems (I don't repeat it and pls search the web if you want to know), I never regret to buy it and I love the manual function, 10x optical zoom and flash light.

Anyway, I agree S602 is the best among your choice, if you don't mind the camera size and more expensive.

As I remember S602 at DCC is around $4500(Hong goods), C730(Hong) is $3530, S304(Water goods) is around $2700.

The highest price should be for Hong goods and others should be for Water goods. But I am not sure what is the difference between the others. I guess it is because of different languages (only Japanese and Japanese+English). For sure, you have better ask the DCC!
