Have not tried PL filter yet.
The sky is already so blue thus did'nt think of PL filter.
I hand held gradual neutral density filter to reserve blue color of the sky.

Both Sigma 10-20 and Tamron 11-18 can attach CPL (PL is not for auto focusing lenses) but slim one will be better otherwise black corner can be seen. Both can only be used on APS-C bodies only like 40D, 450D, 400D etc.

Sigma 12-24 can't use CPL as this can be used on FF bodies, like 1D series and 5D.

Sample of 12-24 on 5D at 12mm price around $4500, if you will go for FF later this is the widest choice.
