Under blue sky, I think the photos were very good! Like the guy said, you could see the layers in the cloud. BUT, the night shots were so green! OK, he said he deliberately tuned the camera that way, but ... really? I doubt it. Why do you want to tune your camera green in night shots?

I am not trying to dampen the excitment over DP1, on the contrary, I think it is a good direction forward, but f4 lens and poor white balance, slow focus, yet selling at over $8,000, I will wait for DP2!

And Sigma make DP-1 need 1.5 year, maybe another 1.5year, they will have DP2 ---> 2010?

There are some 2nd hand DP1 are sold at below $6,000 at 二手買賣區.

I saw that as well, but they are "water goods" :((

I am not knocking DP1 though it may sound like it, but if I want a point and shoot camera, balancing all factors including pictue quality, weight, ease of use, price, etc, I will use GRD (or GRD II) or GX200. Please keep posting photos, you never know, I may change my mind :)))

I am also get my DP-1 from 二手買賣區at $5,900 "Hong" Good.

The original owner kept it for a month only.

I used to want to buy GRD II (price around $5,xxx).

But I have GRD already and $5,900 is very attractive to me, it just like brand new when I get it.

I should say a big thank you to the c hing who sold it to me.
